Foreign customers rent a car, send location to owner to find: Contact owner to pay

(Dan Tri) - After returning home, two Turkish tourists contacted the car owner to request payment of related costs.

On February 16, Mr. Le Ngoc Anh, a resident of Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province, said he had not yet gone to Quang Ngai city to complete the procedures to retrieve two motorbikes left on the sidewalk by Turkish tourists.

Two tourists, who introduced themselves as mother and daughter, rented a car from Mr. Ngoc Anh. After returning to Vietnam, they contacted him and explained that they had urgent matters to attend to and could not return the car, and had not yet paid for the rental.

Turkish tourists still keep in touch with Mr. Ngoc Anh and ask him to summarize the car rental fees so they can transfer payment.

"They explained that their relative was sick and needed to return home immediately. Because they were in a hurry, they couldn't bring the car back and pay the rental fee. They asked me to calculate the rental fee to pay," said Ngoc Anh.

According to Mr. Ngoc Anh, next week he will go to Quang Ngai city to complete the procedures to receive the two motorbikes. After that, he will contact two Turkish tourists to settle the rental costs.

Previously, on February 8, two Turkish tourists came to Mr. Le Ngoc Anh's shop to rent a motorbike, introducing themselves as mother and daughter and needing a motorbike to explore the beautiful scenery in the area.

After verifying the information, Mr. Ngoc Anh rented them two motorbikes. However, at around 0:00 on February 14, he suddenly received a message from the mother and daughter informing him that they had urgent matters to attend to and needed to return home.

These tourists sent Mr. Ngoc Anh a video of two motorbikes parked neatly on the sidewalk, keys and helmets put in the trunk, along with GPS information so he could find the motorbikes.
