At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Director of Vietnam Television Center in the Central Highlands (VTV8) said that with the advantage of being a media channel, the unit expects to attract many participants and fans to the program. This creates a tennis tournament with high professional quality and beautiful tournaments, contributing to spreading the movement of sports training and competition more strongly to a large number of officials, employees and people across the country; promoting economic development and connecting between localities.

Accordingly, the tournament will take place from March 28 to 30 at Tuyen Son Sports Village (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City). According to the schedule, on March 28, at the Vietnam Television Center for the Central Highlands (VTV8), the Organizing Committee held a meeting of the Referee Group and drew lots for the competition schedule.

The VTV8 2024 National Amateur Tennis Cup has 6 competitions including men's doubles leaders, men's doubles under 40 years old, men's doubles 41-50 years old, men's doubles 51 years old and over, the 5th competition is women's doubles and finally mixed doubles. The tournament has attracted 24 delegations with over 100 athletes registered to participate. After drawing lots to divide the competition schedule in each event, the teams are divided into groups to compete in a round robin, then the first and second teams will advance to the knockout round.

The referee team of 15 referees, who will officiate 58 matches, will work quickly and impartially to find a champion for this tournament.
