Urgently complete site clearance work for Phu Binh and Yen Binh 2 industrial parks

On the morning of December 4, Comrade Bui Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the compensation and site clearance work at the two industrial parks (IPs) Phu Binh and Yen Binh 2. These are all large-scale projects, of special importance in attracting investment and completing the province's industrial infrastructure.

At Phu Binh Industrial Park (IP), phase 1 covers 190 hectares. Up to now, the investor has coordinated with local authorities and the Branch of the Regional Land Fund Development Center IV to declare and count 84.9 hectares, and approved 24.5 hectares. Site clearance payment has reached 73.35 billion VND, equivalent to 20.151 hectares, out of a total of 80 billion VND advanced.

As of November 30, 2025, the disbursement value reached VND 95.7 billion, mainly for compensation, site clearance and site preparation of 30 hectares for the groundbreaking ceremony.

Recognizing the efforts of the local government and related units, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to focus on completing 30 hectares of site clearance before December 10, ensuring the ground for the groundbreaking ceremony scheduled to be held on December 17. The entire 190 hectares must be completed before Lunar New Year.

At Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park, the total area is nearly 300 hectares. Up to now, over 170 hectares have been counted; the land clearance fee has been paid with the amount of 257.97 billion VND, equivalent to 73.56 hectares. However, the progress is still slow: 118 households have not been counted, 153 households have not had their plans approved and 25 graves have not been declared.

After inspecting the project site and the demolition of the construction by the people, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee frankly criticized the lack of determination of the local government; at the same time, he requested Van Xuan Ward and Pho Yen Ward to complete the site clearance of 30 hectares in December; at the same time, immediately hand over the completed land to the investor. For the investor, he requested to complete nearly 300 hectares in the second quarter, at the latest in the third quarter of 2026.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation worked with the authorities of Van Xuan ward and communes and wards where the project passed.
