Inauguration and groundbreaking of a series of traffic projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Binh Thuan liberation

A series of traffic and infrastructure projects in Binh Thuan province will be inaugurated and commenced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Thuan province.

On March 14, information from the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee said that the province has decided to select 8 projects to complete and start construction to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Thuan province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025), to welcome the 15th Binh Thuan Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Road to Phan Thiet airport.

Of which, 5 projects were completed and 3 new projects started. Specifically: Phan Thiet Airport Access Road Project (Phase 2), the road is 3.6km long through Thien Nghiep Commune (Phan Thiet City). The project has a total investment of 118 billion VND.

The starting point intersects with Vo Nguyen Giap Street (DT 706B), the end point connects the gate of the civil aviation area, Phan Thiet airport, expected to start construction in 2025.

The Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road project is 7.7km long, with a total investment of nearly 420 billion VND. This is the route connecting the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway to the DT 719B coastal road intersection through the NovaWorld Phan Thiet coastal urban area.

Project to renovate the coastal axis road DT 719B from National Highway 1 to Suoi Nhum bridge (Thuan Quy commune, Ham Thuan Nam district). The route is nearly 18km long, connecting National Highway 1 to tourist attractions in Thuan Quy area and Ke Ga cape.

Investment project to build and operate infrastructure of Tan Duc Industrial Park, Ham Tan district (phase 1), 300ha wide, total investment capital of 1,200 billion VND.

Project to build the headquarters of the Military Command of Binh Thuan province, the project investor is the Military Command of Binh Thuan province (in Binh Hung ward, Phan Thiet). Land use area is about 22,925m2. Total investment is 120 billion VND.

Cars are busy on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway through Ham Tan (Binh Thuan).

In April, the province is expected to start 3 new traffic projects including: Road from Ham Thuan Bac district center connecting to National Highway 1. After completion, this route will play the role of "sharing the load" with National Highway 28 connecting to Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway.

The route is 4.4km long, starting at the intersection with Nguyen Tuong Street (Ma Lam town), ending at Highway 1 at Km 1686+670 (Ham Duc commune, Ham Thuan Bac district). The investment capital is nearly 265 billion VND.

In Ham Tan district, two important traffic projects were also started in April. That is the nearly 24km long road project from Tan Minh town to Son My, the route connecting National Highway 1 with National Highway 55, with an investment capital of more than 682 billion VND.

La Gi town bypass project and Dinh river bridge. The 6.82km long route, after completion, connects La Gi town and Ham Tan district, meeting the needs of travel and goods circulation in the area, contributing to promoting local economic and social development.
