This is a project invested by FPT Quy Nhon Joint Venture, FPT Quy Nhon Joint Venture consists of 3 units: FPT Danang Urban Joint Stock Company (FPT City), FPT Investment Company Limited (FPT Investment), FPT Software Company Limited (FPT Software).
The Urban Artificial Intelligence Center Project (the Project) is implemented with the aim of promoting innovation, investment, research and development of artificial intelligence technology and forming an auxiliary urban area with the main nature of an artificial intelligence urban area, contributing to attracting and retaining technology talents, contributing to making Binh Dinh the region's artificial intelligence (AI) center. Upon completion, the project is expected to play an important role in making Binh Dinh the region's AI center.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province said: "The Artificial Intelligence Center - Auxiliary Urban Project is not only a large-scale project but also marks a new step forward in the application of high technology, especially artificial intelligence, to promote innovation and local economic development.
The construction of this Center is a testament to Binh Dinh province's determination to proactively participate in the fourth industrial revolution, in line with the Politburo's directions in Resolution No. 52, contributing to rapidly increasing the science and technology potential of Binh Dinh province, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things, and Big data, thereby promoting the development of the digital economy and enhancing the competitiveness of Binh Dinh province in the digital age."
The Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that artificial intelligence is becoming the main driving force in the 4.0 industrial revolution, opening up new opportunities in many fields such as healthcare, education, manufacturing and services. Binh Dinh is committed to pursuing the goals of the National Strategy on Research, Development and Application of Artificial Intelligence by 2030 according to Decision No. 127 of the Prime Minister. The Artificial Intelligence Center - Supporting City will play a role as a highlight in the province's technology ecosystem, focusing on activities to promote research, train high-quality human resources and apply AI in important fields such as healthcare, education, and agriculture.
Sharing at the event, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Board of Directors said, “Technology can help companies, cities, provinces and even a country develop outstandingly. I believe that Binh Dinh will quickly become the AI and semiconductor center of the region and even the world. Because in reality, FPT's AI Research and Application Center in Binh Dinh is implementing projects with a scale of hundreds, thousands, even millions of USD for customers in the US, Japan and Europe.
In order for Binh Dinh to quickly become the AI and semiconductor center of the region, solving the world's biggest problems, FPT will work with Binh Dinh to train and develop AI human resources and attract leading AI experts from Vietnam and the world to Binh Dinh.

The project consists of 3 main functional areas: Artificial Intelligence Center; Education and training area; Auxiliary urban area.
The Artificial Intelligence Center is a place for research, training, software production, digital transformation support, providing network security solutions, social security, artificial intelligence to serve people, improve productivity, quality, and service value.
The education zone is an area for building inter-level schools from primary, middle and high schools.
The auxiliary urban area ensures the provision of essential utilities according to the characteristics of the artificial intelligence urban area, contributing to attracting high-quality human resources to Binh Dinh, especially human resources in the fields of high technology, new technology, and artificial intelligence.
In order to attract and retain high-quality human resources in Binh Dinh, at the event to demonstrate a strong commitment to implementing the Project, FPT Quy Nhon Joint Venture signed a Memorandum of Understanding to hand over houses in 2025 to officers and employees who have made outstanding contributions to the development of FPT in Binh Dinh.
Also at the event, FPT representatives presented 40 sets of computers to Binh Dinh Province's Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities to help students expand their opportunities to access new knowledge and technology, achieve their dreams, and contribute to the development of Binh Dinh.
| It is known that FPT has been accompanying Binh Dinh to promote digital transformation in all three areas of digital economy - digital society - digital government. In 2021, the Group signed an agreement to develop a planning plan for Binh Dinh province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and a cooperation agreement to promote digital transformation in the province for the period 2021-2025, aiming to contribute to making Binh Dinh the leading province in the country in digital transformation. Currently, Binh Dinh ranks 29th out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of digital transformation, up 5 places compared to 2021. FPT is currently training about 2,000 students in Binh Dinh. FPT's AI research and application center in Quy Nhon also continuously brings in million-dollar AI projects with customers from the US and Japan, bringing many job opportunities for the province's human resources as well as attracting talents from neighboring provinces to work in Binh Dinh. |
