Opening of the 6x6 Volleyball Championship of Binh Thuan Province 2023

On the morning of October 26, the 2023 Binh Thuan Provincial 6x6 Volleyball Championship opened at the Binh Thuan Training, Coaching and Competition Center. Mr. Le Quang Nhan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee delivered the opening speech.

The 6x6 Volleyball Championship of Binh Thuan Province is a tournament in a series of activities responding to the National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" . At the same time, it creates conditions for cadres, coaches, and athletes of units with strong volleyball movements across the province to study and exchange experiences to improve their professional qualifications. Thereby, further tightening the bond between units and localities across the province.

The tournament will take place from October 26 to 28, with the competition of 100 athletes from 6 teams: Provincial Police, Mobile Police Battalion No. 4, Phan Thiet City, Ham Thuan Nam, Milano Coffee and Le Loi Secondary and High School.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the opening match took place between the Provincial Police and Ham Thuan Nam teams. Although they were behind in the first set by 2 points, the Provincial Police team immediately equalized and entered the decisive match. With the enthusiastic cheering of the officers and soldiers in the stands, the Provincial Police volleyball team won the Ham Thuan Nam volleyball team with a score of 2-1.
