Previously, a review revealed that Kim Thanh district had 178 cases of violations related to irrigation works. In 2024, 4 new violations emerged, 88 cases existed before 2018, and 86 cases existed between 2018 and 2024. In 2024, the district resolved all violations that occurred before December 31, 2023.
In March 2025 alone, Kim Thanh district handled 4 cases of violations that occurred in 2024 in Kim Xuyen, Tam Ky, and Vu Dung communes. Regarding the 2 violations in Vu Dung commune, since they did not affect the function of the irrigation works, the Kim Thanh District People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to allow the structures to remain and remove them from the list of violations within the protected area of irrigation works in the district.
Kim Thanh is the first locality in the entire province to complete the handling of violations related to irrigation works.
To prevent new violations from occurring, the People's Committee of Kim Thanh District requests that all units and localities in the district strengthen inspections of the implementation of laws on the protection of irrigation works. They are also required to review and clarify the responsibilities of collectives, individuals, and heads of agencies, units, and localities where new violations occur. Furthermore, they must closely coordinate with relevant departments and units in the process of managing and handling violations related to irrigation works in the district.
