Comrades Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and delegates from Ninh Thuan province attended the cooperation signing ceremony.
Both sides signed and committed to strengthening cooperation in four areas: cooperation in scientific research and technology transfer; cooperation in the development of high-tech agriculture and fisheries; cooperation in the development of information and communication technology to promote historical and cultural relics, tourist destinations, and tourism products of the province; and cooperation in training human resources for education.
Representatives from Can Tho University attended the cooperation signing ceremony.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Ninh Thuan province is very interested in and values cooperation programs, especially cooperation in training and developing high-quality human resources, and promoting the application of science and technology to serve the socio-economic development of the province.
Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the signing ceremony.
Based on the signed cooperation program, Ninh Thuan province will direct relevant departments and agencies to actively coordinate and create the most favorable conditions for Can Tho University to access and receive information, management experience, and support in scientific research activities.
Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Professor Tran Ngoc Hai, Vice Rector of Can Tho University, signed a cooperation agreement between the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee and Can Tho University.
Can Tho University will support Ninh Thuan province in maximizing its potential and advantages for breakthrough development in the coming time, focusing on the following issues: connecting and promoting the culture, image, potential, advantages, and opportunities for cooperation and attracting investment in Ninh Thuan province's specific strengths such as: energy, high-quality tourism, processing and manufacturing industries, high-tech agriculture…; supporting and coordinating the implementation of training and capacity building for human resources in the province's education sector; supporting scientific research and technology transfer; developing high-tech agriculture and fisheries; and developing information and communication technology.
