Signing of cooperation between Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee and Can Tho University

On the morning of September 13, the Provincial People's Committee and Can Tho University (CTU) held a signing ceremony of cooperation to effectively promote the potential and strengths of each side, responding to the development trend and proactive integration. Comrade Nguyen Long Bien , member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai, Vice Rector of Can Tho University chaired the signing ceremony. Attending the signing ceremony were Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Comrades Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and delegates of Ninh Thuan province attended the cooperation signing ceremony.

The two sides signed and committed to promoting cooperation in four areas: Cooperation in scientific research and technology transfer; cooperation in developing high-tech agriculture and aquaculture; cooperation in developing information and communication technology to promote historical and cultural relics, tourist attractions and tourism products of the province; cooperation in training human resources for education.

Delegates from Can Tho University attended the cooperation signing ceremony.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Ninh Thuan province pays great attention to and attaches importance to cooperation programs, especially cooperation in training and fostering high-quality human resources, promoting the application of science and technology to serve the socio-economic development of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the signing ceremony.

On the basis of the signed cooperation program, Ninh Thuan province will direct relevant departments and branches to actively coordinate and create the most favorable conditions for Can Tho University to access, provide information, management experience and support in scientific research activities.

Can Tho University will support the province to exploit its potentials and advantages to develop breakthroughs in the coming time, focusing on the following issues: Connecting, promoting culture, image, potentials, advantages and opportunities for cooperation, attracting investment in specific areas of Ninh Thuan province with strengths such as: Energy, high-quality tourism, processing and manufacturing industry, high-tech agriculture...; supporting and coordinating the implementation of training, coaching and human resource development for the provincial education sector; supporting scientific research and technology transfer; developing high-tech agriculture and aquaculture; developing information and communication technology.
