The Tien Tien Industrial-Urban-Service Complex (Tien Tien Industrial Cluster) in Quang Tien commune, Hoa Binh city, was established according to Decision No. 1123 of the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee with a total area of 82.36 hectares and a total investment of approximately 550 billion VND. Of this, the industrial complex covers 70.18 hectares and the urban and supporting area covers 12.18 hectares.
In early August, our reporter observed that the Tien Tien Industrial Cluster is located right next to the Hoa Binh - Hoa Lac road and is only about 45km from the center of Hanoi .
Within the industrial cluster, infrastructure, roads, electricity, and drainage systems have been completed, and many factories of secondary investors are being built on a large scale.
When asked, many residents and workers expressed excitement upon learning that Hoa Binh province has a large-scale industrial cluster project worth 550 billion VND currently under construction.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tung (42 years old, residing in Hoa Binh city) said that in recent years, many industrial zones and clusters have been invested in and built. Along with that, a large number of domestic and foreign businesses have invested in Hoa Binh, thereby helping people find jobs without having to travel far. This is especially beneficial for workers in mountainous districts such as Da Bac, Mai Chau, and Tan Lac...
Similarly, Ms. Quach Thi Linh (30 years old, residing in Da Bac district) said: "I am currently working as an electronics factory worker in Bac Ninh with a salary of over 10 million VND/month, but I have to be far from home, my husband, and my children. I hope that the industrial cluster will attract more factories to invest so that workers from Hoa Binh who are working far from home will have the opportunity to return to work near home and have a stable life."
According to information from Da Hop Trading Joint Stock Company - the project's investor, the occupancy rate (secondary investors leasing land) of Tien Tien Industrial Cluster has now reached approximately 90%, covering an area of over 35 hectares in phase 1.
At the same time, several businesses have established manufacturing plants here, such as Phu Thanh Industrial Steel Joint Stock Company, P2M, Maska Global, Silicone Asia Pacific, Kazza Vina, TMC Vietnam, etc.
Speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Pham Van Bao, Head of the Industrial Management Department of the Hoa Binh Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, said that Tien Tien Industrial Cluster is the largest industrial cluster in Hoa Binh province to date, with approximately 1,000 workers.
According to Mr. Bao, after completion and attracting secondary investors, it is expected to create approximately 5,000 - 7,000 jobs. This will increase revenue for the state budget and contribute to the economic restructuring of the locality in particular and the entire region in general.
The total number of industrial clusters in Hoa Binh province included in the Industrial Cluster Development Plan is 38, with a total land area of over 2,200 hectares; of which 17 industrial clusters were already included in the previous plan and 21 are newly added.
The industrial clusters have attracted 41 secondary projects with a leased land area of over 90 hectares; the total registered capital is approximately 3,700 billion VND. In 2023, the value of industrial production in these industrial clusters is estimated at 1,300 billion VND, creating jobs for about 2,000 workers.
