At the scene, part of the rock and soil from the landslide on the afternoon of December 4 has been cleared by authorities from the road surface, enough for vehicles to be able to travel up and down Prenn Pass.

On the remaining half of the pass, authorities are still working to clean up.
On the same morning, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province announced that people and vehicles (except trucks) are allowed to temporarily circulate on the Prenn Pass from December 5 to 7 according to the time frame. Specifically, on December 5, vehicles are allowed to circulate between 9 am and 10 pm. On December 6 and 7, they are allowed to circulate between 5 am and 10 pm.

Outside of the above time frame, authorities will proceed to fix landslides on the slope and cut down trees at risk of falling, causing traffic insecurity.
