Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; Standing Committee of the City People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; departments, branches, unions, officers and soldiers of the Hue City armed forces.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the city leaders rang the bell at the Peace Bell Tower. The resounding, solemn sound seemed to remind us of the immortal sacrifice of the Vietnamese people.
Next, the delegation solemnly laid a wreath with the words “Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs” and offered incense in respectful remembrance. A minute of silence was held to pay tribute to the great contributions of the heroic martyrs - the outstanding sons and daughters from all over the country who sacrificed their youth, blood and bones and their whole lives for the independence, freedom, and unification of the country, for the happiness of the people today.

After the general ceremony, each delegate respectfully went to each grave to light incense in memory. Each incense stick is not only a profound expression of gratitude, but also a commitment of today's generation to the responsibility of preserving peace and independence, continuing the heroic tradition of previous generations.
Hue City Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of more than 2,000 heroic martyrs. This is a place to educate the younger generation about revolutionary traditions. This place holds many sacred memories of those who fell for the independence and freedom of the nation, becoming an immortal symbol of patriotism and indomitable spirit.
