An Giang Provincial leaders received a delegation from the Standing Committee of the Representative Board of the Islamic Community (Islam) of An Giang Province.

On October 23, the Standing Committee of the Islamic Community Representative Board of An Giang province, headed by Mr. Raccari Gia, visited and congratulated the People's Committee of An Giang province, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, and the An Giang Provincial Police on the occasion of the new operation of An Giang province.

The Representative Board of the Muslim Community of An Giang Province presented gifts to congratulate the People's Committee of An Giang Province.

The delegation was received by: Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Le Trung Ho; Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Ngoc; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Ha Minh Trang; Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion of An Giang province Danh Lam; and Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of the An Giang Provincial Police.

Mr. Raccari Gia, Head of the Representative Board of the Muslim Community (Islam) in An Giang province, said that in recent times, thanks to the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and provincial departments and agencies, the Representative Board of the Muslim Community (Islam) in An Giang province has operated effectively, and the lives of the Cham people have improved. The Cham people in the province have strictly adhered to the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; actively participated in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements; and especially studied and followed the thoughts, morals, and style of Ho Chi Minh .

Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, Le Trung Ho, highly appreciated the contributions of the An Giang Provincial Islamic Community Representative Board to the overall development of the province. He expressed his hope that the Board would continue to build upon its achievements and successes; continue to lead the community in actively participating in local patriotic movements and campaigns; and cooperate with other religions and local authorities to effectively implement social welfare policies and promote the community's positive cultural values.

The Standing Committee of the Muslim Community Representative Board of An Giang province presented a symbolic check to support people affected by storms and floods.

On this occasion, through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, the Standing Committee of the Islamic Community Representative Board of An Giang province donated 30 million VND to support people in provinces affected by natural disasters, storms, and floods.
