Leaders of O Lam commune surveyed the commune's transportation and irrigation projects.
The delegation conducted a survey of the An Yen 14 and An Yen 15 bridges, which have just been completed and are preparing for their inauguration. The construction cost exceeded 700 million VND, funded by the Vietnam Youth Social Work Center and benefactors. This project is a celebration of the First Party Congress of O Lam Commune, for the 2025-2030 term.
The survey team is preparing to pave the Păng Tây road (Phước Thọ hamlet area) with concrete. The road is 218 meters long and the construction cost is 218 million VND, funded by the national target program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Surveys were conducted on three roads proposed by voters for concrete upgrading, including: the road next to the Phước Long hamlet pumping station and embankment system; the Kênh Sườn 4 road and the road next to Kênh Sườn 4; and an inspection of the deteriorated iron bridge in Phước Long hamlet. Additionally, surveys were conducted on three landslide points on the concrete road leading to Soài Chek lake ( Ninh Thuận hamlet).
The Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the People's Council of O Lam commune, Mai Thi The, requested that specialized departments develop plans, budget estimates, and propose funding for the construction of the three roads requested by voters. Regarding landslide-prone areas, she urged the prompt marking of danger zones and the placement of warning signs to alert traffic; and the implementation of maintenance and repair of the drainage system leading to Soai Chek lake. For projects with secured funding, she requested that funds be disbursed and construction commenced as soon as possible.
