Lao Cai launches huge tourism stimulus package with up to 50% discount

On October 29, 2024, at Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area, Lao Cai Provincial Tourism Association announced the largest tourism stimulus program in 2024 with the theme "Touch Sa Pa - Touch the clouds".

With the goal of comprehensively promoting tourism activities and attracting tourists to Sa Pa at the end of the year, especially during the Sa Pa cloud hunting season, the tourism stimulus program "Touch Sa Pa - Touch the clouds" has the cooperation of more than 130 tourism businesses in Sa Pa, operating in many different fields such as: hotels, restaurants, transportation, entertainment areas...

According to the Lao Cai Provincial Tourism Association, the tourism stimulus program "Touch Sa Pa - Touch the clouds" will be implemented from November 2 to December 30, 2024. During this period, businesses in Sa Pa will simultaneously launch huge promotional programs of up to 50%, while committing to ensuring service quality, bringing visitors the most memorable experiences and emotions when coming to Sa Pa during the cloud season in November.

Tourists can easily hunt for clouds in Sa Pa around this time.

As one of the pioneering enterprises initiating and participating in the program, Fansipan Sa Pa Cable Car Company (Sun World Fansipan Legend Tourist Area) also launched a great promotion program on this occasion, applying the same price for all 2-way Fansipan cable car tickets to only 550,000 VND/ticket for Vietnamese tourists, equivalent to a 30% discount compared to the original cable car ticket price for adults. Sharing at the event, Mr. Pham Cao Vy, representative of the Lao Cai Provincial Tourism Association, emphasized that stimulating demand to restore tourism - the local spearhead economic sector after the severe impacts of storms and floods is extremely important, contributing to creating momentum for Sa Pa tourism to grow strongly in the last months of 2024. And to do this, it is necessary to have the cooperation of all tourism businesses in the area. The fact that all Sa Pa tourism businesses join hands to implement this tourism stimulus program also demonstrates the spirit of "unity creates strength" which has become a tradition of Sa Pa tourism.

Representatives of the Lao Cai Provincial Tourism Association also called on tourism businesses and units in the area that have not yet registered to participate to join hands to create a strong wave to attract tourists to Sa Pa at the end of the year.
