An Giang Student Association carries out a series of green summer activities in Binh Thanh Dong commune

On the morning of July 21, the An Giang Student Union - Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in collaboration with Binh Thanh Dong Commune Youth Union organized activities to launch the Green Summer campaign.

During the 3 days (July 19, 20 and 21), nearly 40 volunteer students and local youth union members carried out many meaningful and practical activities, such as organizing playgrounds, providing dental consultations, and free haircuts for primary school students; providing admissions consultations at Binh Thanh Dong High School combined with first aid training for drowning; supporting environmental cleaning, planting trees, and beautifying rural landscapes.

In addition, the delegation also presented 100 gifts and 11 scholarships to elementary and high school students with difficult circumstances, poor students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies. The total cost of the program is about 30 million VND, supported by the social fund of the association.
