Attending the event were Major General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of Military Region 1; Major General Nguyen Hong Phong, Commander of the Artillery and Missile Command; representatives from the leadership of Military Region 1; representatives from local Party committees and authorities; leaders and commanders of the Brigade from various periods, along with a large number of officers and soldiers of the unit.

On behalf of the President of Vietnam , Major General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of Military Region 1, presented the Third-Class Order of National Defense to Brigade 382.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the President of Vietnam, Major General Truong Manh Dung presented the Third-Class Order of National Defense to Brigade 382 and, together with the delegates, reviewed the Brigade's 45-year journey of building, fighting, and maturing.

Established on September 13, 1980, amidst tense border conditions in the North, Brigade 382 was entrusted with the responsibility of being the main firepower force of Military Region 1. Through many hardships, generations of officers and soldiers have upheld the spirit of "Self-reliance - Self-strength - Proactiveness - Creativity - Unity - Determination to Win," quickly stabilizing their organization, training, and combat readiness, achieving their first victories and contributing to the safeguarding of the nation's borders.

Throughout its development, Brigade 382 has repeatedly mobilized for combat, participated in large-scale exercises, and successfully completed its assigned tasks. The unit was honored with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces during the đổi mới (renovation) period (2004), and many collectives and individuals received prestigious medals and awards. In recent years, the Brigade has continued to affirm its role in training and combat readiness; at the same time, it has actively participated in civilian affairs, helping people overcome natural disasters and strengthen rural infrastructure, leaving many positive impressions in the hearts of the people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Truong Manh Dung acknowledged and praised the achievements and victories of Brigade 382 over the past 45 years, and requested the unit to continue upholding the heroic traditions of the Artillery Corps: "Bronze feet - Iron shoulders - Excellent fighting - Accurate shooting" and the Brigade's tradition of "Self-reliance - Self-strengthening - Proactiveness - Creativity - Unity - Decisive victory"; to promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; to build a "lean, efficient, and strong" Brigade, excellently fulfilling all tasks, contributing to building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnamese People's Army and firmly defending the Fatherland.
