The State Bank of Vietnam - Region 2 Branch has just issued Decision No. 1259/QD-KV2 signed on December 5, 2025 on granting additional business contents to the Banking License of Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd - Ho Chi Minh City Branch. Specifically as follows:
Grant additional activities to the activities in Article III of the Foreign Bank Branch Operating License No. 25/NH-GP dated May 3, 1996 issued by the Governor of the State Bank to Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd - Ho Chi Minh City Branch, including:
- Credit granting in the form of letters of credit
- Other business activities related to letters of credit
- Receive term deposits in Vietnamese Dong from Vietnamese individuals.
This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of the Foreign Bank Branch Operation License No. 25/NH-GP dated May 3, 1996 issued by the Governor of the State Bank to Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd - Ho Chi Minh City Branch and decisions to amend and supplement the content and information in License No. 25.
