Reporting at the conference, Mr. Trinh Hong Ngan - General Director of Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation TKV - JSC, stated: In 2025, under the direction and support of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group, with the consensus of the entire political system and the efforts of the collective of cadres and workers, the Corporation has proactively implemented flexible solutions in production and business to basically complete the planned targets.

In particular, the Corporation has achieved many important targets: 785,000 tons of raw coal were extracted; over 8.4 million cubic meters of earth and rock were excavated; over 1.2 million tons of coal were consumed; over 2.4 million tons of cement were produced and consumed, reaching 111.3% of the plan; total revenue exceeded 5.4 trillion VND, reaching 104.9% of the plan; profit reached 319 billion VND; and contributions to the State budget amounted to 663 billion VND, reaching 117.3% of the plan.
The average income of workers reached over 14.4 million VND/person/month, an increase of 2% compared to 2024; the cement sector alone set a record with an average of over 20 million VND/person/month.

Alongside production, the Corporation strictly implemented cost management, operated flexibly, and focused on resolving difficulties in land clearance. It strengthened technical management and promoted the application of science and technology in coal and cement production. The innovation movement spread strongly, with 176 recognized technical innovations and solutions, bringing in benefits worth over 5.3 billion VND.
In 2025, investment activities were strongly promoted from the beginning of the year. The value of implemented investments reached over 377 billion VND, equivalent to 165.6% of the plan assigned by TKV, becoming a prominent highlight in the context of production and business still facing many challenges. Many important projects such as the expansion and capacity upgrade of Na Duong and Nui Hong mines and items serving the cement production line were implemented on schedule, contributing to increased mining and production capacity in the coming period.
Besides its production and business activities, the Corporation pays special attention to the welfare of its employees. Regular health check-ups and hazardous work allowances are fully implemented, and collective housing and working conditions continue to be improved, ensuring practical benefits for workers…

Commending the Corporation's efforts, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, General Director of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group, praised the spirit of unity and effort in comprehensively fulfilling the set targets. The Group's leadership requested that in 2026, the unit focus on implementing several key tasks, continue to innovate thinking, raise awareness, and keep pace with the country's strong transformation to comprehensively achieve all targets.
General Director Vu Anh Tuan emphasized the need to accelerate restructuring, improve equipment capacity, increase the efficiency of applying science and technology, promote innovation, accelerate digital transformation, and apply artificial intelligence. Along with this, it is necessary to develop the business of mining waste, strengthen environmental protection, proactively prevent and mitigate damage from storms and floods, and ensure safety in production.
At the conference, delegates approved the list of delegates attending the 2026 Group-level Workers' Conference. They also voted to approve the Resolution of the 2026 General Corporation Workers' Conference with key plan objectives including: over 1.3 million tons of raw coal; 17.3 million cubic meters of excavated earth and rock; revenue exceeding 5.6 trillion VND; profit of 247 billion VND; ensuring employment, welfare benefits, and living standards for workers with an average income of over 13.5 million VND per person per month.
