According to the 10th grade public high school admission plan of Quang Tri province, next school year, this locality will implement a combined entrance exam and selection method. Candidates will take three exams including: Math, Literature, and English to enroll in 10th grade.

In which, Literature is tested in essay form; Math is tested in a combination of essay and multiple choice; English is tested in an essay form combined with multiple choice testing 3 skills: listening, reading and writing.

After receiving the score, each student can only register for 1 choice to 1 public high school. The admission condition is that the candidate has completed 3 exams; has not violated the exam regulations and the score of each exam must be greater than or equal to 0.75 points.

Candidates will take three exams including Math, Literature, and English to enroll in grade 10 of Quang Tri province's high school.

The exam score is calculated by a coefficient of 2. The admission score is calculated by multiplying the exam scores of each subject by a coefficient of two, plus the 4-year secondary school study score, training score, priority and incentive points (if any).

According to Ms. Le Thi Huong, in order to create favorable conditions for students, after the entrance exam ends, the exam marking unit will announce the results to each candidate. After that, students can register their wishes to enter grade 10 of a public high school.

This is to help students have the opportunity to choose a school that suits their abilities and at the same time limit the situation where a school has to accept many student registration requests at the same time.
