One week, 516 vehicles were fined in Bac Ninh

From December 2 to December 8, through the traffic camera system, Bac Ninh province's authorities detected and fined 516 vehicles violating traffic safety and order.

The main violations that are fined are speeding from 10 km/h to 20 km/h and from 5 km/h to under 10 km/h. In addition, some vehicle owners do not obey traffic lights and stop and park their vehicles in the opposite direction of traffic.

List of 516 vehicles fined

Fines for speeding cars:

Fines from VND 800,000 to VND 1 million shall be imposed on drivers exceeding the prescribed speed limit by 5 km/h to under 10 km/h (Point a, Clause 3, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).

A fine of VND 4 million to VND 6 million shall be imposed on drivers exceeding the prescribed speed limit by 10 km/h to 20 km/h (Point i, Clause 5, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, amended at Point d, Clause 34, Article 2, Decree 123/2021/ND-CP).

In addition, the driver who commits the violation will also have his/her driving license revoked for 1 to 3 months (Point b, Clause 11, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP);

Fines from 6 million VND to 8 million VND for drivers exceeding the prescribed speed limit by more than 20 km/h to 35 km/h (Point a, Clause 6, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).

In addition, the driver who commits the violation will also have his/her driving license revoked for 2 to 4 months (Point c, Clause 11, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).

Fines from 10 million to 12 million VND for drivers exceeding the prescribed speed limit by more than 35 km/h (Point c, Clause 7, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).

In addition, the driver who commits the violation will also have his/her driving license revoked for 2 to 4 months (Point c, Clause 11, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).

Fines for speeding on motorbikes:

Driving over the speed limit by 5 - 10km/h will result in a fine of 200,000 to 300,000 VND. If driving over the speed limit by 10 - 20km/h: A fine of 600,000 to 1 million VND.

If exceeding the speed limit by more than 20km/h, the fine is from 3 million to 5 million VND. If driving at excessive speed and causing a traffic accident: The fine is from 4 to 5 million VND.

Driving below the minimum speed on roads with a minimum speed limit: Fine from 200,000 VND to 400,000 VND.
