“Coc Coc's Featured Search Trends - Year in Search” is a detailed statistical report with the 15 most popular search topics, top featured query keywords by topic, content, events and the growth of search topics that Vietnamese people are interested in over the past year.

The number of searches for domestic and international tourist destinations has increased sharply with growth ranging from 260% - 700% compared to 2021.
Also in the tourism topic, “new passport” is the most prominent keyword with a growth rate of up to 885%. In addition, keywords such as “place of birth/place of birth passport” are new keywords that appear and are searched by Vietnamese users in 2022 due to the impact of issues related to place of birth and the fact that some European countries have declared not to recognize and stop issuing visas to Vietnamese citizens using new passports.
2022 will also see a surge in entertainment. As cinemas fully reopen in 2022, searches for movie showtimes will also increase compared to 2021, especially between May and November 2022.
Among them, “Minions” and “Office Dating” were the most searched short films and series. Masked Singer and beauty pageants were the top shows. New artists such as MONO and NewJeans became the artists topping the trending list of the year.
