Young man suffered severe burns while stealing electric cable in industrial park

At around 0:38 a.m. on October 27, at Quang Chau Industrial Park (Bac Ninh province), an attempt to steal a power cable on a 22kV line failed. The thief was seriously injured by an electric discharge and was taken to the emergency room.

Initial information, at the above time, people and security forces of the industrial park discovered a young man seriously injured, with burns in many places on his body, and his clothes burned black.

Immediately upon receiving the report, the Nenh Ward Police ( Bac Ninh Provincial Police) arrived at the scene to investigate and examine the scene. Initially, the subject confessed that he climbed the electric pole with the intention of stealing the electric cable of the cutting machine on the 22kV line, but because he climbed too close to the line, he was electrocuted, fell and was seriously injured.

The police of Nenh ward are verifying the identity of the subject because the subject was seriously injured and had to be transferred to the hospital for emergency treatment. The authorities are investigating and clarifying the incident.
