(GLO)- After increasing by 3,000 VND/kg in key regions, domestic coffee prices today (August 20) exceeded 120,000 VND/kg. In the world, coffee prices also increased sharply on the day of closing business positions.

Specifically, in Gia Lai and Quang Ngai provinces, coffee is currently at 120,000 VND/kg; in Dak Lak province, the price is 120,100 VND/kg and currently holds the highest price in Lam Dong at 120,300 VND/kg.

Today, the world coffee market also recorded a strong increase on the closing day of business positions.

Of which, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor for delivery in September 2025 increased sharply by 255 USD (equivalent to 6.14%), reaching 4,410 USD/ton; the price of delivery in November 2025 increased by 248 USD (equivalent to 6.17%), at 4,268 USD/ton.

Similarly, on the New York floor, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in September 2025 increased by 12.60 cents (equivalent to 3.67%), to 356.20 cents/lb; the price of delivery in December 2025 increased sharply by 13 cents (equivalent to 3.87%), at 349.05 cents/lb.

According to experts, Vietnamese coffee is benefiting from the recovery of demand in major markets such as the EU, US, Japan, Korea, China... In addition, businesses are increasingly focusing on investing in deep processing technology, tracing origin and effectively utilizing FTAs, contributing to increasing export value and expanding markets.
