Nghe An: Highlights on October 19

* On the morning of October 19th, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, led a delegation of officials from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to visit and congratulate the Provincial Women's Union on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2023).

* On October 19th, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of various departments and agencies, visited economic models, inspected projects in Thai Hoa town, and held a working session with the Standing Committee of the Thai Hoa Town Party Committee.

* On the morning of October 19th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting with the Provincial Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations to hear the results of the tasks performed in the third quarter of 2023 and to set directions for the work in the fourth quarter of 2023. Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - chaired the meeting.

* On the morning of October 19th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, in coordination with the National Assembly Delegation, organized a conference to gather feedback on the draft amended Land Law. One of the issues raised at the conference was that regulations on the recovery of abandoned agricultural land that is not being used for production should be avoided, as in practice, many areas remain unused due to objective reasons.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued Document No. 8827/UBND-NN on strengthening the management, direction, and guidance of the implementation of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program.

* The Nghe An Tax Department recently sent Official Letter No. 6151/CT-QLN dated October 17th to the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment regarding the revocation of mineral exploitation licenses for enterprises.

* To commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union on October 20th, women's associations at all levels in the province organized many practical and vibrant activities, contributing to building the image of the modern Nghe An woman with good health, both physically and mentally.

* Nghe An province launches a movement "All citizens participate in detecting and providing information and images reflecting administrative violations of traffic safety regulations".
