Nghe An: Highlights of August 23rd

* Comrade Le Minh Hoan - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development , spoke with Nghe An Newspaper about the implementation of the objectives of Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo in the field of agriculture, and Nghe An's new economic thinking.

* On the morning of August 23rd, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation conducted a survey in Hoang Mai town and Dien Chau district as part of the thematic monitoring plan on the implementation of Resolution No. 36 of the National Assembly on piloting some specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province.

The Nghe An Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations has identified its key tasks and is focusing on implementing five areas encompassing people-to-people diplomacy activities: external information; friendly exchanges; expanding international relations; exploiting resources; and consolidating and developing the organization.

* Vinh City is investing in an 18-meter-wide road connecting National Highway 46 with Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard. This is a Class II, Group B urban transport project, with the Vinh City People's Committee as the investor. According to the route, the starting point is the intersection with National Highway 46 at Km9 + 700, and the end point is the intersection with Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard at Km3 + 300.

* In accordance with Official Letter No. 5414/HĐND-TH dated July 4, 2023, from the Provincial People's Committee regarding the resolution of opinions and recommendations from voters before the 14th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, the Department of Transport has issued written responses to the issues raised by voters, including the issue of handling oversized and overloaded vehicles.

* After 14 years since its commencement, a review by the authorities revealed that the Suoi Choang Hydropower Project had not completed the land allocation and lease procedures as required by regulations. Therefore, the People's Committee of Con Cuong District fined the project 30 million VND.
