Nghe An: Highlights on August 23

* Comrade Le Minh Hoan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development , discussed with Nghe An Newspaper about the implementation of the goals of Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo in the field of agriculture, Nghe An with new economic thinking.

* On the morning of August 23, the National Assembly delegation of the province conducted a survey in Hoang Mai town and Dien Chau district according to the plan to monitor the implementation of Resolution No. 36 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province.

* The Nghe An Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations has identified key tasks, focusing on implementing 5 areas covering people's foreign affairs activities, namely: foreign information; friendly exchange; expanding international relations; exploiting resources; and strengthening and developing the association organization.

* Vinh City invests in an 18m wide road connecting National Highway 46 with Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard. This is a level II urban traffic project, group B, invested by Vinh City People's Committee. According to the route, the starting point is the intersection with National Highway 46 at Km9 + 700, the end point is the intersection with Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard at Km3 + 300.

* Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 5414/HĐND-TH dated July 4, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on handling voters' opinions and recommendations before the 14th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, the Department of Transport has issued a document responding to voters' recommendations, including the issue of handling oversized and overloaded vehicles.

* After 14 years since the start of construction, through inspection, the authorities discovered that the Suoi Choang Hydropower Project had not completed the procedures for land allocation and land lease as prescribed. Therefore, the People's Committee of Con Cuong district imposed a fine of 30 million VND.
