The workshop was organized within the framework of the Vietnam Standards and Quality Program (GQSP Vietnam), funded by the Swiss Federal Department for Economic Affairs (SECO), aiming to promote trade, enhance competitiveness, and improve market access for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Vietnamese fruit industry.
The workshop serves as a forum for stakeholders in the fruit value chain to assess the current state of packaging and packing practices in Vietnam's fruit export industry. It also opens up opportunities for networking among participating entities and partners, fostering practical collaborations after the workshop.
With the participation of policymakers, industry associations, export businesses, retailers, logistics companies, technical service providers, and research institutes, the workshop aimed to identify key challenges and capacity constraints, while also recognizing opportunities for innovation and promoting the adoption of more advanced, safe, and sustainable packaging solutions.
