The entire photo collection includes 120 documentary and artistic photos taken of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City over the past half century, along with an illustrated book for the photo collection and a DVD presentation that he has painstakingly created, produced and preserved for a long time.
The photo series is printed on large-format photo paper 50 x 70cm in 20 different themes: Deep sky and land, River region, Remember the bridge when crossing the river, People go, people come, people open the way, Settling down and working, Jobs in the past, Immigrant life... to contribute another perspective on old Saigon.
Photographer Tam Thai, EVAPA.G photographer (exceptionally excellent), born in 1953 in Quang Nam - Da Nang. He has many photo books and researches: Tet Saigon, 150 years of Saigon's image, Old Langbian - Da Lat, Countryside memories... and many personal exhibitions about Saigon.

The two photos of Ong Lanh's Banks and Tau Hu Canal displayed in this exhibition were taken by him in 1973 when he was still a student, with a wild Saigon on the wharf and under the boat, the peaceful life in the old streets and old steps, stirring up emotions in the viewers.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Vinh, representative of Ho Chi Minh City Museum, acknowledged the heart of photographer Tam Thai who devoted his whole life to Saigon and will plan to introduce it to the public in annual thematic exhibitions, and at the same time carry out the work of carefully preserving and preserving it for future generations as desired by photographer Tam Thai who entrusted it to him.
