Things to do after knowing the 2024 high school graduation exam scores

After looking up the 2024 high school graduation exam scores on the system, candidates should consider doing the following to ensure their rights and best prepare for applying for university admission.

If you find any irregularities in your exam scores, you can file a request for review.

After completing the lookup of the 2024 high school graduation exam scores on the website system of the Ministry of Education and Training , if the exam scores are found to be unusual, the results are much different from the previously estimated results, candidates can consider filing a request for review.

According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 33 of the Regulations on High School Graduation Exams issued with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT, after the exam scores are available, all candidates have the right to have their exam papers reviewed. Candidates submit an application for review at the place of exam registration.

According to the Plan for preparing and organizing the 2024 high school graduation exam in Appendix I attached to Official Dispatch 1277/BGDĐT-QLCL dated March 22, 2024, it is clearly stated that the time to announce the 2024 high school graduation exam scores will be at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, 2024. No later than August 12, 2023, candidates with a Request for Review will be considered for recognition of high school graduation.

From July 17 to July 26, 2024, appeal applications will be accepted and a list of appeals will be established.

Candidates can register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times before 5:00 p.m. on July 30.

After registering their wishes, candidates still have concerns and hesitations about placing their wishes so that the universities they want can change and adjust their admission wishes.

According to the official dispatch of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates can register, adjust, and add admission wishes an unlimited number of times. Notes for candidates on adjusting wishes on the system are as follows:

Candidates use the granted account to process information (enter, view, edit) their information on the System;

Registration of admission wishes for majors/programs must be done online on the System or on the National Public Service Portal (Instructions are posted on the System or the National Public Service Portal);

Candidates' wishes for admission to all training institutions are registered by major/program and are ranked from 1 to the end (wish 1 is the highest wish). At the same time, candidates must provide data (according to the criteria, conditions, and registration process specified in the enrollment plan of the training institutions) corresponding to the major/program that the candidate has registered for admission so that the training institutions can use it for admission (Detailed instructions for registration steps are posted on the System when candidates access to register);

All admission requests of candidates to training institutions are processed on the System and each candidate is only admitted to the highest request among the registered requests when ensuring that they meet the admission conditions;

Candidates who have completed the application to the training institution according to the early admission plan of the training institution, if they meet the admission requirements (except the high school graduation requirement), must continue to register their admission wishes on the System to be considered for admission according to regulations.

The time for candidates to adjust their wishes according to Official Dispatch 1957/BGDĐT-GDĐH in 2024 is from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024 .

At the same time, from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, 2024, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of admission wishes online according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment on the system before August 28, 2024.

After adjusting their wishes, candidates will have a period of time to rest and wait for information on the standard scores of the universities. The latest time is 5:00 p.m. on August 19, 2024, universities and colleges will announce the standard scores and the results of the first round of admission. Therefore, if admitted, candidates must confirm their admission on the system before August 28, 2024.

For candidates who are eligible for direct admission, confirmation on the system is also a mandatory requirement. If not confirmed, candidates may miss the opportunity to study at that university.

After confirmation, candidates will not be considered for further wishes, unless the university allows non-enrollment.

Time for direct admission candidates is from July 22, 2024 to 5:00 p.m. July 31, 2024.
