Car collides with truck on North-South highway, 3 people injured and dead

At approximately 3:30 AM on December 24th, Mr. LVD, born in 1986 and residing in Chi Lang commune, Hung Ha district ( Thai Binh province), was driving a truck with license plate 17C - 186.51 on the North-South arterial road, heading from Hai Duong to Thai Binh.

Upon reaching the intersection of the North-South arterial road and Provincial Road 396 in Ninh Giang district, the truck collided with a passenger car (license plate 37K 580.20) driven by Mr. D.D.M., born in 1992, from Nghi Kieu commune, Nghi Loc district (Nghe An province), traveling on Provincial Road 396 from Dao Co to Cau Me. The passenger car was carrying Mr. D.D.L., born in 1966, and Mr. NVH, born in 1994, and Mr. NVS, born in 2000, both from the same commune.

The truck was damaged after the accident (photo provided by a reader).

The accident resulted in Mr. L's death at Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital, while Mr. H and Mr. S were injured.

Upon receiving information about the accident, the Ninh Giang district police force immediately arrived at the scene to handle the situation, reroute traffic, and regulate traffic flow. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the police.
