Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung asked Lang Son Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Quoc Khanh to exploit the potential and strengths of economic development, turning Lang Son into a fairly developed province by 2030.

On October 15, Lang Son Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on the transfer and appointment of comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, former Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 from October 15, 2025, replacing comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, who was just transferred and appointed by the Politburo to be Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee.

Handing over the decision and assigning tasks to the new Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh is a well-trained cadre, matured from the grassroots, has held many positions, has capacity and experience in Party building and State management, is close to the grassroots, has the ability to gather and unite in agencies and units. During his work, he has always completed all assigned tasks well.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee proposed that, in his capacity as Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, together with the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee, lead, direct, organize, thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the action program of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, and soon put the resolution into life.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and leaders at all levels, sectors and localities of Lang Son province promote the tradition of solidarity, unity, support and help comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

The Party Committee, government and people of Lang Son province and the Provincial Party Secretary continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, the strength of the great national unity bloc and the outstanding results that the province has achieved in recent times; exploit potentials and strengths to develop the economy , striving to make Lang Son a fairly developed province by 2030.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee noted that the Provincial Party Secretary and provincial leaders need to direct the quick overcoming of damages caused by storm and storm circulation No. 11 in the area; first of all, helping schools and medical facilities ensure operations, especially quickly stabilizing the lives of people in areas affected by floods.

The Provincial Party Secretary also needs to carefully study the Politburo's Conclusions on improving the quality of operations of the two-level local government apparatus, ensuring smoothness, effectiveness and efficiency.

Lang Son province researched and re-evaluated the staff and tasks that have been and are being performed after more than 3 months of implementing the new model; reviewed and rearranged the payroll and staff as a basis for re-arranging staff in accordance with reality according to their capacity and professional expertise.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Lang Son Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Quoc Khanh thanked the Politburo and the Secretariat for their trust and responsibility as the head of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee - a land rich in revolutionary history, holding an important position in terms of socio-economics, national defense and security in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

The Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee affirmed that he will quickly grasp the local situation; continue to inherit and promote the revolutionary tradition of the province; uphold the role and responsibility of the leader to join the comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in the province to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, innovation, successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 18th Lang Son Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh was born on September 2, 1969, Thai ethnic group, hometown in Yen Chau commune, Son La province; qualifications: PhD in Economics, Senior in political theory.

Before being assigned to work in Lang Son province, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh held many positions in Son La province such as Vice Chairman, Chairman of the People's Committee, Secretary of Phu Yen District Party Committee (former); Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Son La province (former); Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Son La Provincial Party Committee (former); Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In Decision No. 1419-QDNS/TW dated August 1, 2024, the Politburo approved Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

At the 16th Congress of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, held at the end of September, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh was re-elected as Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee./.
