(Dan Tri) - Mr. Tran Luu Quang was mobilized, assigned, and appointed by the Politburo to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On the morning of August 25, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce and hand over the Politburo 's decision on personnel work. The conference was attended by Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen and leaders of the Party, State and Ho Chi Minh City.

At the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong announced the Politburo 's decisions on personnel work. According to the decision, Mr. Tran Luu Quang ceased to hold the position of Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee and was transferred, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
