The award aims to honor outstanding digital technology products researched, designed, created, and manufactured in Vietnam to solve Vietnamese problems and go international.
On the morning of July 12, in Hanoi , the Ministry of Information and Communications held a press conference to announce and launch the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Award 2023.
This is a prestigious and official award in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), chaired and awarded annually by the Ministry of Information and Communications to Vietnamese organizations and enterprises with outstanding digital technology products researched, designed, created, and manufactured in Vietnam to solve Vietnamese problems and go international.

2023 is the fourth year the award has been held. The award aims to honor outstanding digital technology products, which are proud of Vietnamese intelligence, have great impact and influence in bringing people and businesses' activities into the digital environment, contributing to promoting digital government, digital economy and digital society in Vietnam as well as the world.
Speaking at the press conference, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung, Permanent Vice President of the Award, said that held for the first time in 2020, the award has created ripple effects, further promoting the development of Vietnam's ICT industry. Many award-winning products have made important contributions to the digital transformation of government agencies, businesses, and people.
“Because of their widespread application, some products have contributed to greatly changing the lives of many remote and disadvantaged villages that we previously thought would take a long time to solve. People can promote and sell products everywhere, at reasonable costs; have access to high-quality medical services through Telemedicine solutions; study remotely, work remotely, access knowledge and information to serve their lives,” said Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung also said that in recent years, Vietnamese digital technology enterprises have developed many digital platforms and digital service applications.
This year's award will honor outstanding digital technology products that bring pride to Vietnamese intelligence and have great impact and influence in bringing the activities of the government, people and businesses into the digital environment.
In 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communications has identified a number of major viewpoints and orientations such as: the year of national digital data; the year of creating practical results that are widely used and popular; the year of bringing Vietnamese digital technology enterprises and digital technology products abroad, conquering the world. The 2023 Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Award will add a category to honor enterprises with excellent digital technology products, services, and solutions that have been successful in foreign markets, while encouraging and cheering on Vietnamese digital technology enterprises to continue their desire to go out into the world.
According to the plan, the time to receive registration and documents to participate in the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Award will last from July 12 to October 12.
During the period from July 12 to August 11, businesses can make preliminary registration and receive guidance from the award's standing agency to prepare documents according to regulations.
Enterprises submit their applications online via the electronic portal: Giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mic.gov.vn.
