
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Le Thi Anh Mai emphasized that the contest is a cultural activity with profound meaning, contributing to honoring the image of the Capital Police officers, spreading the humanistic values of the cause of maintaining security and order, for the peaceful life of the people. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote the role of literature and art in reflecting positive values, strengthening the close relationship between the police force and the people. The contest is a practical step, contributing to affirming Hanoi's position as the cultural and creative center of the whole country.

Representing the City Police, Colonel Tran Van Hoa, Head of the Political Affairs Department, promoted the spirit of coordination and expected works with depth, vividly reflecting the reality of fighting, working and contributing, including the silent sacrifices of the People's Police force for a peaceful life.
The contest is a creative playground for artists and police officers and soldiers; a meeting place between art and life, contributing to enriching cultural and spiritual life, promoting the movement of writing on the theme of the people's police, and spreading the image of soldiers for a peaceful life to the general public.
The contest is open to professional and amateur authors, musicians, writers, poets; members of creative clubs; people living, studying and working in Hanoi; officers and soldiers currently working at units of the Hanoi City Police.

The entries are in the genres of poetry, memoirs and songs, praising the tradition of the People's Public Security force and the Capital Public Security with their achievements and feats in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, and maintaining a peaceful life.
The work praises the beautiful image of the Capital Police officers with their silent contributions and sacrifices, the difficulties and hardships in the career of maintaining security, order and social safety of the Capital, for the peace and happiness of the people; praises the beauty of the Capital Police officers in daily life, in communication and behavior with the people.
The Organizing Committee will receive entries until July 10, 2025, at the Department of Grassroots Cultural Affairs - Hanoi Cultural Center and Library (No. 7, Phung Hung, Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi); or send via email [email protected]. The Organizing Committee will summarize and award prizes in August 2025.
