400 packs of cigarettes without documents proving origin were discovered on a passenger bus.

Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, under the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police, has just discovered and handed over 400 packs of JET brand cigarettes without documents proving their origin.

At 2:30 a.m. on September 7, 2023, at Km 1790+700, Ho Chi Minh Road, passing through Hoa Phu Commune, Buon Ma Thuot City, using professional measures, the Traffic Police Team led by Captain Pham Huu Phuong temporarily stopped and inspected the passenger car with license plate number: 47F - 005.13 driven by Mr. HNN (born in 1982, residing in Phuoc An Town, Krong Pac District).

During the inspection, a cardboard box containing 400 packs of JET brand cigarettes was discovered inside the passenger car's compartment, but the driver was unable to present relevant documents.

Through investigation, driver N. stated that on the evening of September 6, 2023, when the vehicle was traveling to Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province, a man of unknown origin sent a package to Krong Pac District, with a fare of 50,000 VND.

The team has handed over all vehicles, evidence, and case files to the Economic Police Team, Buon Ma Thuot City Police for further verification and handling according to the provisions of law.
