The Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, under the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, recently discovered and handed over 400 packs of JET brand cigarettes without documents proving their origin.
At 2:30 AM on September 7, 2023, at Km 1790+700 on the Ho Chi Minh Highway section passing through Hoa Phu commune, Buon Ma Thuot city, using professional methods, the traffic police team led by Captain Pham Huu Phuong stopped and inspected a passenger bus with license plate 47F - 005.13 driven by Mr. HNN (born in 1982, residing in Phuoc An town, Krong Pac district).
During the inspection, a cardboard box containing 400 packs of JET cigarettes was found inside the passenger vehicle's cargo compartment, but the driver was unable to produce any relevant documentation.

During questioning, driver N. stated that on the evening of September 6, 2023, while his vehicle was traveling through Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province, an unidentified man sent him a package to Krong Pac District for a fee of 50,000 VND.
The team handed over all vehicles, evidence, and case files to the Economic Police Team of Buon Ma Thuot City Police for further verification and processing in accordance with the law.
