Approval of the Construction Outline of the Alexandre Yersin Museum

Currently, Nha Trang City People's Committee is organizing the preparation of a project to adjust the zoning plan (scale 1/2000) for the residential area of ​​Xuong Huan Ward, Van Thanh, Nha Trang City. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been coordinated with Nha Trang City People's Committee to study and add the Alexandre Yersin Museum project to the zoning plan adjustment to match the general planning of Nha Trang City.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan, Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Khanh Hoa province, said: The Department assigned the Khanh Hoa Provincial Museum to establish an outline, tasks and budget for the construction of the Alexandre Yersin Museum. According to the approved outline, the Alexandre Yersin Museum will have unique features associated with the cultural heritage of the scientist Alexandre Yersin, associated with the memories of Nha Trang people for him in the land of Agarwood.

"The Alexandre Yersin Museum will be designed to simulate the image of Mr. Tu's house in the old Con village, also to meet the wishes of many people in Nha Trang city to restore Mr. Tu's house (Alexandre Yersin). The construction of the Alexandre Yersin Museum, according to the outline, will be carried out in seven component projects, implemented from 2024 to 2030," said Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan.
