This morning, February 27th, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Quang Tri Province, Nguyen Dang Quang, worked with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department on key tasks for 2024.

The report of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department clearly states that in 2023, the mass mobilization system at all levels in the province closely followed the policies, resolutions, and conclusions of the Central Mass Mobilization Department and the Provincial Party Standing Committee to concretize the implementation and completion of the task groups according to Notice No. 425-TB/TU dated February 20, 2024, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; 6 groups of contents signed with the Provincial Party Standing Committee regarding the responsibility of the collective leadership and the head of the organization in implementing the key tasks in 2023; 76 groups of tasks according to the work program set out by the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; and the contents and programs arising unexpectedly from the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Central Mass Mobilization Department.

Actively coordinate and advise the Provincial Party Committee to promote propaganda and mobilize the people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in the implementation of the local political tasks; strengthen ethnic and religious affairs; coordinate the implementation of the Law on the Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots Level; promote the effective implementation of coordinated programs; mass mobilization work in land clearance; understand the situation and sentiments of the people to advise and propose to the Party Committee and government to promptly resolve issues related to people's lives; promote democracy and strengthen national unity...

The central task for 2024 is to strengthen the leadership and guidance of the political system in mass mobilization work; to promote democracy and the strength of national unity in implementing socio -economic development, national defense and security, Party building, and the political system in 2024.

Directing the mass mobilization system at all levels to focus on coordinating with the government, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and the armed forces to effectively carry out propaganda, mobilization, and democracy by organizing for cadres, civil servants, employees, union members, association members, armed forces, and all strata of the people to participate in contributing opinions to the draft documents of the Party congresses at all levels... Strengthening mass mobilization work in state agencies and governments at all levels.

Focus on directing the innovation of content and methods of operation, promoting the role and improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, and contributing to the building of the Party and government by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in accordance with the Party's guidelines.

Directing the effective implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's laws on mass mobilization work and socio-economic development policies, ensuring national defense and security in ethnic minority and religious communities. Improving the quality of coordinated mass mobilization programs, especially mass mobilization work within state agencies and governments at all levels.

To disseminate information and mobilize the people in implementing the plan for rearranging administrative units at the district and commune levels of the province, giai đoạn 2023 - 2025. To continue to vigorously implement resolutions, decisions, directives, conclusions, regulations, and projects of the Provincial Party Committee related to mass mobilization work.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Nguyen Dang Quang, acknowledged the achievements of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department in fulfilling its key tasks in 2023. He also emphasized that the Department should build upon these achievements to continue effectively carrying out its key tasks in 2024, mobilizing the entire political system to effectively implement socio-economic development, national defense, and security tasks in 2024. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of effectively advising on religious affairs.
