Reporting at the working session, Colonel Tran Minh Trong, Political Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, said that the Provincial Military Command Party Committee has done a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee to comprehensively, synchronously and effectively implement military and defense tasks, focusing on improving the quality of construction and operation of defense areas, building a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture. At the same time, improve the quality of the grassroots political system, link military and defense tasks with economic development, improve the social life of ethnic minority areas, remote areas, border areas; and carry out defense diplomacy well with Mondulkiri province (Cambodia).

In 2025, the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command will continue to strictly maintain combat readiness; closely coordinate with Party committees, authorities, and people to build an all-people national defense and a all-people national defense posture associated with people's security and a solid security posture.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong praised the achievements of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command in recent times, especially in competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024); and the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024).

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that Dak Lak province and the Central Highlands region are key areas in terms of national defense and security, so the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command has a firm grasp of the situation and proactively responds to all situations, especially non-traditional security factors, to ensure national defense and security, serving the local socio-economic development.

In addition, it is necessary to build a strong reserve force, militia and self-defense force, closely coordinate with the Commune and Ward Police, security and order protection teams at the grassroots level... to grasp the situation, proactively respond to situations, contribute to ensuring social order and safety, security and national defense; coordinate well in training work, build an increasingly strong armed force to meet the task of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong requested the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command to continue to lead, direct, organize and build a contingent of competent, qualified and prestigious cadres in the coming time. At the same time, attach importance to the task of economic development associated with building a strong national defense, contributing to the overall development of the Central Highlands; do a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to effectively invest in national defense and security; and carefully prepare for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term./.
