On the afternoon of December 3, at the Government Headquarters, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh received a high-ranking delegation of the Russian President's Office of Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption, led by Russian Presidential Assistant Mironov Dmitry.
Pleased to receive the delegation on the occasion of their visit and working with the Government Inspectorate , Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh sent regards and congratulations from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the delegation; affirming that the Vietnamese Government always highly appreciates the friendly relations between the two countries over the past 70 years.
The two countries upgraded their relationship to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2012 and this cooperative relationship has become an invaluable, precious asset that has been tested during Vietnam's very difficult years.
The Party, State and people of Vietnam always remember the great and effective assistance of the people of the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation today during the years of resistance as well as the cause of national reconstruction.
This relationship is increasingly close, especially the political relationship with high trust between the two sides is increasingly strengthened through the mechanism of regular delegation exchanges and bilateral contacts at all levels.

Russian Presidential Assistant Mironov Dmitry sent his deep condolences over the recent consequences of floods in central Vietnam; said that the President of the Russian Federation sent a telegram to General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong, expressing sympathy and condolences to the families of those who died, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Mr. Mironov Dmitry also congratulated Vietnam on its 80th National Day and the impressive achievements it has made in recent times.
Referring to the two countries celebrating a number of major events this year: the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Russia relations, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of Vietnam, and the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, Russian Presidential Assistant Mironov Dmitry expressed gratitude to the Vietnamese soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the campaign to protect Moscow; affirming that the friendship between the two countries has overcome the challenges of time, and that the two sides always support and assist each other.
Vietnam-Russia cooperation is also strengthened by political dialogue at the highest level. The Vietnamese Government is a key partner and good friend of Russia.
Russian Presidential Assistant Mironov Dmitry informed about the activities of the delegation in Vietnam; preparations for signing the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption Agency under the President of the Russian Federation; and sent an invitation to the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and the Government Inspector General to visit Russia as soon as possible.
Acknowledging the effective cooperation and exchanges between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Russian Federal Service for Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh affirmed that Vietnam attaches great importance to the fight against corruption. The Government Inspectorate is a very important standing agency in this fight.
The fight against corruption is under the direct leadership of General Secretary To Lam. The Politburo also has a Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity, headed by the General Secretary.

The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the cooperation content and the content of the memorandum of understanding that the two agencies had discussed. Accordingly, the two sides will increase the exchange of high-level delegations and cooperate in training and fostering officials to improve the effectiveness of corruption prevention and control, and build an honest and responsible government.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Vietnamese Government and the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity highly appreciate and always give the highest support to this cooperative relationship. The Deputy Prime Minister also hopes that the two sides will continue to cooperate in many other potential areas.
At the meeting, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong and Chairman of the Russian Federal Service for Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption Travnikov Maxim shared the positive results in the work of preventing and combating corruption of the two countries, expressing the wish that the two sides would increase the exchange of experiences, cooperation in training officials, professional seminars and developing a transparent database system, public asset management, and preventing corruption in the private and public sectors.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Assistant to the Russian President Mironov Dmitry witnessed the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Russian Federal Service for Public Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption./.
