The collective of cadres, reporters, editors and workers of Vietnam News Agency actively responded with the spirit of "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", wishing to contribute to helping people in disaster-hit areas soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
The Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency shared that although this amount cannot be compared to the heavy losses and damages that the people of the Central Highlands and Central regions are suffering, it is a sincere sharing, demonstrating the responsibility of the staff, reporters and workers of the national news agency. The receiving process is continuing, because many units and individuals still send contributions through the agency's account.

During the time of heavy rain, flooding, and landslides in the Central and Central Highlands regions, the leaders of Vietnam News Agency directed its resident agencies and reporters to closely follow the scene, promptly and comprehensively reporting the natural disaster developments.
In Lam Dong, Gia Lai and many other heavily affected areas, Vietnam News Agency reporters worked in extremely difficult conditions, from landslide areas to deep flooding, to convey accurate information about the damage as well as relief efforts by the government, functional forces and people.
Not only ensuring its information mission, Vietnam News Agency also actively participates in support activities, providing more resources for the community, spreading the spirit of solidarity and humanity, and joining the whole country in supporting the Central and Central Highlands regions during this challenging period.
Receiving the donation, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, thanked the Vietnam News Agency for its noble gesture to the people affected by natural disasters and floods. This is a practical and timely resource demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love and support" when our people are in difficulty and distress.

Mr. Cao Xuan Thao said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front was one of the first agencies to launch relief activities and was also the focal point for synthesizing resources to support compatriots.
The reception and allocation work is carried out flexibly, not only through the central account but also encouraging organizations and individuals to directly support the Fatherland Front at all levels or at the local level. All sources of contributions are recorded, monitored and made public and transparent.
People and businesses increasingly trust the Fatherland Front system and local authorities in receiving, managing and allocating relief resources.
Besides, there are still many organizations and individuals who want to directly give support gifts. The Fatherland Front always acknowledges and creates conditions for this activity to be carried out in accordance with regulations and to the right subjects.
