On May 22nd, the Ninh Thuan representative office of Nhan Dan Newspaper donated 1,000 copies of the panoramic picture supplement "Dien Bien Phu Campaign" to readers and agencies, units, and schools in the province.

According to journalist Vo Nguyen Trung, representative of the Nhan Dan Newspaper's Ninh Thuan bureau: On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), Nhan Dan Newspaper published a special issue on May 7, 2024, with 8 additional pages of information, including 4 pages featuring the complete panoramic picture of the "Dien Bien Phu Campaign," and 4 pages summarizing the 56 days and nights of the campaign in diary format in both Vietnamese and English.

Readers can cut and paste four printed pages to create a panoramic image over 3.2 meters long and interact with the image through augmented reality technology or by scanning a QR code. This technology allows users to view a dynamic panoramic image in a physical dimension. This is a meaningful activity that helps readers and the public nationwide, and in Ninh Thuan province in particular, to enrich their understanding of history through various forms of engagement, especially for young people.

Holding this special supplement in her hands, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, Deputy Principal of Chu Van An High School, said that with its meaningful images and attractive presentation, students will have a more comprehensive and thorough understanding of the historical campaign that our ancestors fought and won. After receiving the supplements donated by Nhan Dan Newspaper, the school will organize reading sessions for students to learn about the Dien Bien Phu historical campaign, thereby contributing to helping them access national history more effectively.
