Ben Thanh Ward held a meeting with Party organizations

Ben Thanh Ward Party Committee (HCMC) currently has 71 Party cells with 2,200 Party members.

On July 8th, the Ben Thanh Ward Party Committee held a meeting of Party branches.

Nguyen Kim Duc, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, said that in the first 6 months of the year, the political security situation and social order and safety in the area were stable. The work of rectifying urban order, traffic safety and environmental sanitation continued to be maintained, but there was still a situation of cars being parked in the wrong places, especially during rush hours.

The Secretary of the Ben Thanh Ward Party Committee presented the decision to establish the Party branch.

The ward also monitors and ensures the control of business activities in conditional sectors, preventing complex violations from occurring. As of June 30th, the ward's state budget revenue reached over 523 billion VND.

At the conference, representatives of the neighborhood party cells gave their opinions on creating conditions for the neighborhood party cells to organize activities in accordance with regulations; and orienting the ward's development in the new situation.

Hoang Thi To Nga, Secretary of the Ben Thanh Ward Party Committee, shared that the ward's headquarters and facilities are currently facing difficulties. However, a positive aspect is that the ward has many schools, which can provide temporary community activity centers.

The ward Party Secretary requested that grassroots Party organizations focus on successfully organizing the congress for the 2025-2030 term, organizing quality, focused sessions of the ward People's Council; completing the Public Administration Service Center, promoting activities to serve the people. Along with that, focus on activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) associated with gratitude activities, giving gifts to families with meritorious services...

On this occasion, the Ben Thanh Ward Party Committee announced the decisions to establish and rename party organizations under the ward Party Committee. Accordingly, the Ben Thanh Ward Party Committee handed over the decisions to establish the Party Committee of the Ward People's Committee; the Party Committee of the Ward Police ; the Party Cell of the Ward Party Cell; and the Military Cell.
