Mozambique President Daniel Chapo visits the Vietnam pavilion.

On August 25, the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique participated in the 60th Maputo International Fair (FACIM 2025), held at the Ricatla International Fair Center, Marracuene, Maputo province.

At the fair, the Vietnamese booth stood out with many typical agricultural products such as rice, coffee, tea, chili sauce, rice paper, etc., traditional handicraft products, along with publications and leaflets promoting Vietnamese tourism and culture.

This is an opportunity to promote the image of the country, people, economic cooperation, trade and investment potential of Vietnam, contributing to promoting substantive and effective cooperation between Vietnam and Mozambique and partners participating in the fair, while also demonstrating Vietnam's active support for trade exchange activities and international investment promotion in the host country.

The opening ceremony of the fair was attended by President of Mozambique Daniel Chapo, members of the Mozambican Government , representatives of embassies, international organizations and many domestic and foreign enterprises.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, President Daniel Chapo affirmed that FACIM 2025 represents a historic turning point, opening a new era of leadership that is more engaged, creative and people-oriented than ever before.

FACIM is Mozambique's largest annual trade fair and one of the most important international trade and investment promotion events in the Southern Africa region.

FACIM 2025 took place from August 25-31, attracting the participation of 3,150 booths, including 2,350 Mozambican enterprises and 800 international participants from 27 countries, with the presence of many embassies and international organizations. The fair is not only a space for displaying and introducing products, but also a forum for connecting investments, expanding partnerships and promoting multi-sectoral cooperation between countries.
