The Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council voted to approve a resolution providing 100% financial support for compensation, assistance, and resettlement for social housing projects.
On March 19th, at the 32nd session of the 13th term of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council, the provincial People's Council delegates voted to approve a resolution providing financial support to investors implementing social housing projects in the province.
The delegates of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council unanimously voted to approve a resolution supporting investors in implementing social housing projects in the province.
Specifically, Quang Ngai province will provide 100% of the compensation, support, and resettlement costs for land clearance. At the same time, it will support 70% of the investment costs for constructing technical infrastructure within the social housing project area, according to the detailed plan approved by the competent authority.
The applicable subjects are investors in social housing construction projects funded by non-budgetary sources and trade union funds in Quang Ngai province; and other state agencies, organizations, and individuals involved in social housing construction activities in Quang Ngai province.
Regarding the principle of support, funding for the construction of technical infrastructure systems will be considered for support after the investment and construction have been completed, inspected and approved, and the value of the work has been verified by the competent State agency.
Government subsidies must not be included in the selling price, rental price, or lease-to-own price of social housing.
Quang Ngai Provincial Party Secretary Bui Thi Quynh Van delivered a speech at the meeting.
Speaking at the session, the Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Bui Thi Quynh Van, emphasized: The Resolution stipulating the mechanism for supporting the implementation of social housing construction investment projects, which officially came into effect on March 29th, will contribute to helping Quang Ngai effectively implement the task and target of investing in the construction of 6,300 social housing units assigned by the Prime Minister .
