On November 23rd, in Hanoi , the Vietnam National Cyber Security Technology Company (NCS) launched the NCSOC solution for 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring for small and medium-sized enterprises. Statistics from the Ministry of Public Security indicate that the buying and selling of personal data in Vietnam is currently very serious, with two main factors being cyberattacks and personal data theft. In 2023, the Ministry of Public Security issued warnings and handled tens of millions of cases related to the violation of personal databases. According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, thousands of cyberattacks targeting Vietnam with the aim of stealing personal data are recorded every month.
Analyzing typical data breaches that have occurred in Vietnam, NCS experts stated that in each incident, hackers spend 95% of their time scanning and gradually infiltrating the system, while only 5% is spent stealing data and causing damage. Therefore, the chances of detecting and preventing attacks are very high. With continuous 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring, businesses can detect early signs of system attacks, thereby completely preventing data leaks.
According to Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, NCS's Chief Technology Officer, with NCSOC, customers' devices can be protected even without an internet connection.
