In just over 10 days, the commemoration ceremony for prominent figures and the awarding of the Certificate recognizing the Han Nom texts of Truong Luu village (Can Loc, Ha Tinh) as a World Memory Documentary Heritage will take place. Relevant units are urgently completing preparations.
The stage design for the celebration of the birthdays of prominent figures of the Nguyen Huy family and the awarding of the certificate recognizing the Han Nom texts of Truong Luu village as a heritage site will be held at the Provincial Cultural and Film Center.
The celebration of the 310th anniversary of the birth of Thám hoa Nguyễn Huy Oánh (1713 - 2023), the 280th anniversary of the birth of the renowned figure Nguyễn Huy Tự (1743 - 2023), the 240th anniversary of the birth of the renowned figure Nguyễn Huy Hổ (1783 - 2023), and the reception of the Certificate recognizing the Hán Nôm texts of Trường Lưu village as documentary heritage under the Memory of the World Programme for the Asia- Pacific region, is scheduled to take place on June 23rd.
According to the plan, the program includes the main event: a commemorative rally held at the Provincial Cultural and Film Center and a procession from Ha Tinh City to Kim Song Truong commune (Can Loc). Along with that are a series of side activities such as: the 2nd Can Loc District Nghe Tinh Folk Song Festival (June 21-22, 2023); and an exhibition and introduction of the cultural heritage system of Truong Luu village, the Nguyen Huy family lineage, and "Han Nom texts of Truong Luu village" (June 20-24, 2023).
Representatives of the Vietnamese delegation received the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Memory of the World Documentary Heritage certificate for the Sino-Vietnamese texts of Truong Luu village in November 2022 in South Korea.
As the venue for the celebration of the birthdays of prominent figures from the Nguyen Huy family, the Provincial Cultural and Film Center has developed a plan to prepare the stage design, decorate with banners and posters to promote the celebration within the center's grounds and along the main street on Phan Dinh Phung Road (Ha Tinh City).
Mr. Nguyen Sy Chinh, Deputy Director in charge of the Provincial Culture and Film Center, said: “According to the assigned task, the center will be responsible for preparing the stage and decorating the auditorium for the commemorative rally, and will also hang banners and posters promoting the event along Phan Dinh Phung street and within the center's grounds. Currently, we have prepared stage designs to submit to the organizing committee for approval and implementation. The center has also created mockups and graphic designs for printing banners and posters for promotional purposes.”
An artistic performance by artists from the Ha Tinh Traditional Arts Theatre at the "People of Ha Tinh Around the World" program in 2022.
Together with the Provincial Cultural and Film Center, the Ha Tinh Traditional Arts Theater has completed the script for the artistic program for the ceremony and is currently recording and rehearsing. With a duration of approximately 30 minutes, the artistic program will focus on praising the homeland, the country, famous figures, the Party, and President Ho Chi Minh. It will highlight the cultural values of the people and the land of the Hong Mountain and La River region. The program is expected to complete the rehearsal phase by June 19th, with the final dress rehearsal on the evening of June 21st.
In parallel with provincial-level units, Can Loc district also directed the Cultural and Communication Center and Kim Song Truong commune to carry out many preparatory tasks for this particularly meaningful event.
Residents of Kim Song Truong commune (Can Loc district) are working to clean and beautify the grounds of the Truong Luu Cultural Center in preparation for the upcoming anniversary celebration.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Son, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kim Song Truong commune, said: "To ensure the event's success, we mobilized various organizations, descendants of the families, and local people to renovate the Truong Luu Cultural Center and the Nguyen Huy Oanh, Nguyen Huy Tu, and Nguyen Huy Ho ancestral temples."
The authorities urged the units currently working on the restoration of historical relics to expedite the completion of the projects on schedule. In addition, on this occasion, the villages in the commune mobilized the people to beautify the village roads and alleys in preparation for hanging banners and posters to welcome the commemoration of the famous figures and the awarding of the Certificate recognizing the Han Nom text as a heritage of Truong Luu village.”
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Kim Song Truong commune also directed the painting and renovation of the entrance gate to the Truong Luu Cultural Center and many other items.
Along with Kim Song Truong commune, the Can Loc Cultural and Communication Center has directed localities with folk song clubs to actively practice for participation in the 2nd District-wide Folk Song Festival in 2023. In addition, the center is preparing documents and images to serve the exhibition and introduction of the cultural heritage system of Truong Luu village, the Nguyen Huy family lineage, and the Han Nom texts of Truong Luu village at the Truong Luu Cultural Center (Kim Song Truong commune)...
