On the morning of September 30, the Principal of Chuong Duong Primary School decided to temporarily suspend Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh, homeroom teacher of class 4/3, and also the grade 4 school, for 15 days starting today.

The reason is to verify and clarify the complaint, stabilize the situation of parents and students during the time of considering disciplinary action. Ms. Hanh is responsible for handing over records, documents, machinery, equipment, teaching aids and other contents related to the school and class to the new homeroom teacher.

During the suspension period, Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh must ensure continuous communication when requested to explain or provide records and documents related to disciplinary review or exchange related information.

Also on the morning of September 30, Mr. Le Cong Minh, the school's principal, said that 24 students were absent from school this morning because their parents were not aware of the situation. The school has arranged for another teacher to temporarily take charge of class 4/3. He also said that after an internal meeting this morning, parents will be informed of the situation and a new guest teacher will take over the class. This teacher is currently at the school.

Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh, the teacher in the case, said that the reason for requesting support for a personal computer was because this year the class had an additional TV, and her computer had been lost since the previous school year, so she needed a computer to connect to the TV, prepare lessons, and had proposed it in the parent meeting. During this meeting, the parents agreed to collect a fund of 500,000 VND/person, and the branch president proposed spending about 5-6 million to support the purchase of a laptop.

That day, 29 parents contributed 14.5 million VND to the fund. She also proposed to support the nanny with 300,000 VND per month. The parents also agreed. In addition, the parents also contributed 500,000 VND to the scholarship fund.

After the meeting, the parents asked this teacher to keep the money of 29 children. On September 16, the principal invited the teacher to discuss the parents' complaints about asking for support to buy computers. The principal also requested that this should not be done. However, the teacher did not immediately announce it but instead held a vote in the class's Zalo group. Because some parents did not agree, she sent a message that she would not accept anything from the parents.

On the afternoon of September 18, this teacher had an appointment with the parents to explain that not accepting the laptop was not because he was angry with the parents but because of the school's instructions as well as handing over the class fund to the parents to keep, but the parents' representative did not come.

"The reason I didn't accept the laptop was not because I was angry with the parents, but because of the direction of the school board. What I did was wrong, so I wanted to explain to the parents," the teacher added.

On September 24, at an internal meeting between the school, teachers and parents, parents signed a document requesting to transfer to the remaining 3 classes, and parents who did not agree would continue to study in the old class taught by the teacher. However, later, the parents did not transfer to another class and requested to change teachers.

In addition, this teacher was also reported to have raised her voice and said bad words in the office with the school board, Ms. Hanh also admitted that this incident happened. This teacher also admitted that she sold food to students in class, but that was not her intention. She prepared the food for herself, the students needed it so she sold it.
