
Specifically, the SE1/SE2 and SE3/SE4 trains departing from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on October 27 will stop running; the SE19/SE20 trains departing from Hanoi and Da Nang on the same day will stop running. In addition, the "Connecting Central Heritage" trains HD1/2 and HD3/4 departing from Hue and Da Nang will also be temporarily suspended on October 28 and 29.
About 2,700 passengers were affected by the train schedule adjustment. Passengers with tickets for the above trains can return their tickets at the station within 30 days, free of charge. The company has proactively notified passengers via SMS, Zalo, website and fanpage.
According to records in the Hue and Da Nang areas, the water level is currently 70mm high on the top of the rail and in some places the water level is 185mm high. The water level is continuing to rise very quickly in the communes in Da Nang.

Currently, train SE8 is still running normally. However, if the flood situation does not improve, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will consider the option of transporting passengers by road to ensure safety.
The Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said it is continuing to closely monitor the developments of rain and floods tonight and will make an announcement as soon as possible if there are any changes to the train schedule.
