On the occasion of the New Year 2024, the Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with sponsors, organized the program "Giving Love to Patients, Welcoming the New Year 2024 Together" at several medical facilities.

Accordingly, the delegation organized the program at the Traditional Medicine Hospital, the Provincial General Hospital, and the Gia Viễn District Health Center.

During the program, representatives from the Provincial Red Cross Society and sponsors kindly visited and presented gifts to nearly 700 patients receiving treatment at medical facilities. The gifts were small, but they were the most practical and meaningful encouragement from the sponsors to the patients, helping them to be more optimistic and effectively carry out their treatment so they can return to their families soon.

Receiving gifts ahead of the New Year 2024, patients expressed their emotion and happiness at receiving the care, encouragement, and support from the community.

Connecting generous hearts to create resources, share, and help those in difficult circumstances, including patients undergoing treatment at medical facilities, is one of the outstanding activities carried out by Red Cross societies at all levels in recent years.

The gifts given during holidays and festivals not only help alleviate the difficulties faced by those in need but also contribute to spreading beautiful stories of compassion and sharing throughout the community.
