Focus on site clearance and infrastructure construction of Thaco - Thai Binh Industrial Park

On the afternoon of March 25, comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the site clearance work and the progress of infrastructure construction of Thaco - Thai Binh Industrial Park in Quynh Phu District. Accompanying him was comrade Lai Van Hoan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected and directed the progress of the investment project for the construction and operation of infrastructure in the Thaco - Thai Binh Industrial Park (Quynh Phu).

The Thaco - Thai Binh Industrial Park project is invested by Thaco - Thai Binh Agricultural Industrial Park Investment Co., Ltd. The project covers over 194 hectares in the communes of An Thai, An Ninh, and An Cau (Quynh Phu district). To date, Quynh Phu district has completed compensation payments and land clearance for nearly 192 hectares of agricultural land, recovering land from 1,067 households to hand over to the investor for project implementation. The district is currently focusing on land clearance for 94 households in Luong Cau village, An Cau commune; and coordinating with the electricity sector to develop a plan for relocating the 220kV high-voltage power line. On the investor's side, construction has begun on the roadbed, surface, rainwater drainage system, wastewater drainage system, and telecommunications within the industrial park.

After conducting a site inspection, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that the Thaco - Thai Binh Industrial Park project is one of the province's key projects, with significant importance for the local socio -economic development goals. Therefore, he requested the investor to accelerate the implementation progress, ensuring the project is put into operation soon and avoiding waste of land resources.

The comrade requested that Quynh Phu district focus on decisively directing the land clearance work for the remaining area, ensuring the timely handover of land to the investor. Along with that, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda efforts to create consensus among the people; closely coordinate with the investor in the payment of compensation, resettlement support, and stabilizing the lives of people in the project area.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Quỳnh Phụ district government will always accompany, support, and create the most favorable conditions for investors throughout the project implementation process.

Later that afternoon, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with a delegation, inspected the progress of land clearance for the investment project to restore, preserve, and develop tourism in the Nam Cao silk weaving village in Thong Nhat commune (Kien Xuong district), with Hanhsilk Joint Stock Company as the investor.
