Based on the assessment of the situation, the remnants of Typhoon No. 11 have caused prolonged heavy rainfall over a wide area, leading to rising water levels in rivers and streams, causing flooding in many areas of the province. Updates from hydrological stations such as Chã, Gia Bảy, Thác Giềng, and Bắc Kạn show that floodwaters are rising very rapidly. The peak flood is expected to occur on the afternoon of October 7th , predicted to reach 29.3m, higher than the peak flood of Typhoon No. 3 ( YAGI ) in 2024 .

From the early morning of October 7 , the Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command urgently deployed hundreds of officers and soldiers to reinforce key positions on the dike.

Here, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts, proactiveness and positivity of the locality and the provincial forces in flood and storm prevention and control; at the same time, he noted the need to continue closely monitoring the water level of the Cau River to proactively follow the "4 on-site" motto and promptly deploy response measures , ensure the safety of dikes as well as respond to possible situations.

Quan Trieu ward area has many deeply flooded areas.

A field inspection in the old Quang Vinh ward (now Quan Trieu ward) showed that most residential areas and roads were flooded, many areas were 2-3m deep. Local authorities focused on propagating, encouraging and supporting households to move to safe places; at the same time, mobilizing necessary supplies to promptly support the people.
